Competition, this animation serves as a proof of concept that teaches
the viewer about the unique dialect used in El Salvador, called
‘Caliche’. When using this slang in conversation, it often conveys
a meaning different from the literal translation.
To capture the rich color and texture inspired by artworks of Fernando
Llort, the animation assets were made from cut paper and then animated
in Adobe After Effects.
